Letters (1946 April 7-28) of Adele F. Banvard and her aunt, Edith M. Banvard, to Bolitho, concerning a painting of the Mississippi River exhibited before Victoria, Queen of Great Britain; and scrapbook (1921 January 21-1931 March 30) of Bolitho, entitled "The Keats Portrait," containing correspondence and related material concerning a newly discovered portrait of John Keats. Correspondents include Edmund Blunden, and Sir Sidney Colvin.

John Keats was an English poet and literary critic. John Keats, English poet, was born in London, England, on 29 or 31 Oct. 1795. He died of tuberculosis in Italy on 23 Feb. 1821. In 1810, Keats was articled to a surgeon, T. Hammond, in Edmonton for five years. The contract was broken in 1814 or 1815.
